If you could be a world champion at any sport, what would it be?

For me the choice is clear: Table Tennis. It's in the Olympics, it has a professional tour, and there is no other sport that sounds as cool while being played. Plus I could have a legion of fans in China. What could possibly be better?

Queen City

I almost went to Charlotte this weekend, but instead I stayed in Pittsburgh. I cleaned the kitchen and vacuumed the hall. Yeah, I really should have gone. Oh well. I guess you are all gonna have to depend on Josh (unfortunately he missed Sunday and is now in Mexico, so it might be a while) and TSP.

On balance things have been going quite well.

I started training again, too. While the club season might be in the back of my mind, I am really training for Spring League. Deo is getting the band back together--the Defending Spring League 2005 Champion Fancy Catchers--and I need to be in my top physical condition for a grueling league schedule.

anotha week... anotha stellar performance by stila on monday nite. now 6-0 at hoem. it 2 bad patriot game not b at heinz field. that quagmire may b onli thin in league capable uv stoppin their offense... which iz currentli averagin 40.2 point pa game.

annual esn alumni game wuz week n half ago. alumni rankz wuz bit thin without brody 2 ralli troop... but we had good bunch. fraggle won "longes distance traveled" competition... jettin in frm olympia (not oregon). brent... sean... n jay hold down pitt pride in baltimore. mike came in frm d.c. uv washington. n we had ragged band frm here in pittsburgh that included reed... me... coach (honorary alum)... n josh (future alum--he just wantd 2 b on winnin team). current team... apparentli stunned by our good lookz n certainli not our physical conditionin... let up first four point uv game. they decided 2 try 2 make game uv it... but we held them at bay. wit alumni leadin 14-8... yan makez surprise gues appearance... givin rise 2 hopez uv comebak (just kiddin... yan--tho he did drop perfect game winna frm sean). while young pitt wuz able 2 extend game unnecessary 15 minutez by callin twelve consecutiv travelz on brent... we wuz eventualli victorious. win... 15-10. happy burfday... brody.

sum uv u may know that josh haz challenged me 2 1-on-1 scrabble match.
